We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chef de Cuisine for our All Day Dining restaurant at AYANA Midplaza, JAKARTA. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service, and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the culinary team in the preparation and presentation of dishes that align with our brand standards.
- Develop and innovate menu items that cater to a diverse clientele while maintaining seasonal and local influences.
- Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen budgets to optimize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote menu offerings and enhance guest experiences.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Interact with guests to gather feedback and improve dining experiences.
- Oversee kitchen operations during service to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a culinary leadership role, preferably in a bustling All Day Dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends.
- Proven ability to develop creative and delicious menu items.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
- Experience in inventory management and cost control.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining quality standards.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred.
