Some of your duties will include:

Responsible for overseeing all maintenance and repair activities within the Process Maintenance’s Central Workshop to support the smooth operation of the mineral processing plant. This role ensures the reliability, availability, and safety of mechanical equipment and tools, while also leading a team of technicians to achieve operational targets efficiently and in compliance with company policies and standards.

Workshop Operations Management:

·        Plan, organize, and supervise daily maintenance and repair tasks in the central workshop to support plant operations.

·        Ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.

·        Equipment Maintenance and Repair:

·        Oversee the maintenance and repair of critical plant equipment, such as crushers, conveyors, pumps, and other mechanical systems.

·        Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify and address mechanical issues promptly.

Team Leadership and Development: Supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations; Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement;

Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies; Promote safe working practices within the workshop.

Resource Management:

·        Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables, ensuring availability for timely repairs.

·        Coordinate with procurement and vendors for quality and cost-effective parts supply.

Reporting and Documentation:

·        Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and workshop performance metrics.

·        Generate regular reports for the Process Maintenance Manager.

Continuous Improvement:

·        Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and implementing best practices.

·        Collaborate with other departments to ensure the workshop’s activities align with plant operational goals.

Some of your duties will include:

The Supervisor Scaffolding will oversee and ensure the safe and efficient erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures for the Process Expansion Project in a mineral processing plant. This includes coordinating with engineering, construction, and safety teams to meet project schedules and safety standards. The role also involves leading a team of scaffolding workers to execute tasks aligned with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

§  Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to develop scaffolding requirements.

§ Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment for scaffolding works.

§ Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate scaffolding activities into the project timeline.

§ Supervise and manage scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling on-site; Conduct routine inspections to ensure structural stability, compliance, and quality; Provide technical guidance to scaffolding teams to address challenges during installation or modifications.

§ Enforce strict adherence to company and regulatory safety standards (e.g., OSHA, local mining regulations); Identify and mitigate potential hazards related to scaffolding activities; Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for scaffolding teams.

§ Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of scaffolding inspections, incident reports, and safety audits; Prepare daily progress reports and submit them to the Construction Manager; Ensure inventory of scaffolding materials and equipment is well-maintained and documented.

§ Train workers in scaffolding techniques, safety practices, and the proper use of tools.

§ Foster a collaborative and productive work environment among scaffolding crews.

·        Supervising, controlling and monitoring the installation and operations conform to standards and technical requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications and technical drawings.

·        Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.

·        Conferring with other functions, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.

·        Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.

·        Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or technical requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.

·        Supervise with scheduling major electrical projects from ordering parts to performing the work in a timely and cost-effectengineeive manner.

·        Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.

·        Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.

·        Maintaining electrical equipment and following approved company procedures plan, schedule, control and completely document all work performed on the plant DCS system and distributed PLC’s including troubleshooting and configurations changes.

·        Monitor and assist in the planning of daily and future scheduled plant repairs, included assist to work of Instrumentation and control and DCS personnel to ensure the are working in a safe and efficient manner while following approved company procedures.
