About The Role

About the role: 

As an IT Audit Lead, you will get a chance to help Amartha on implementing IT Internal Audit activities and demonstrate your keen ability to identify the root cause of the problem. You will work alongside the other internal audit team, risk division, and monitor Amartha’s operational activities to deliver  improvement of business process quality of Amartha. 

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure IT Internal Audit plan is executed properly and sufficient audit evidence and/or documentation is  obtained to support audit findings.

• Design and implement a risk management framework for e-money services aimed at Amartha Link agents, focusing on operational, fraud and credit risks.
• Implement controls specific to the Amartha Link agents, including transaction limit, fraud detection system, and secure onboarding process. 
• Assess risk associated with e-money usage by Amartha Link agents, particularly around high-volume, low-volume transactions, cross-border payments, cash flow fluctuations, and account-take over.
• Collaborate with data science teams to develop Amartha Link agents-specific risk scoring models and fraud detection algorithms. 
• Work closely with product, tech, business, operations teams to ensure risk controls are integrated into e-money products and services for Amartha Link agents.
• Prepare reports and presentations to stakeholders on the performance and risk exposure of e-money and agents services.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and stay informed of changes in regulatory policies.

• 5+ years’ experience in risk management, preferably within e-money, digital payments, fintech, or MSME banking service.
• Experience working with MSME users/ segments, with a deep understanding of the financial needs and risks associated to this segment. 
• Proven track record in managing risks related with digital financial services, including fraud detection, transactions monitoring. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams and external partners
