The IT Service Desk Engineer reports to the IT Support Manager

Purpose of the function 

The IT Service Desk Engineer is the point of contact for end users for operational questions, requests and problems regarding ICT services (incl. applications). Within the Service Desk, the IT Service Desk Engineer is responsible for first-line solutions to problems in the ICT services. As such, they are directly responsible for keeping the work environment of the end users productive. Tickets are coming in via different communication channels like Phone, Chat, Portal or mail. • Develop and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) for security.

In this position, you will join our growing Indonesia Built Environment business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of building and infrastructure projects.

• Produce designs, documentation reports, proposals, and specifications, perform calculation and analysis to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity. 

• Contribute to project planning. 

• Assume responsibility for planning and managing resources of small projects or parts of larger projects.  

• Performing clarification and technical meeting. 

• Execute feasibility studies, project definition, concept design, specifications, and design documentation

• Coordinating with drafter in term of drafting checking. 

• Providing design reviews of electrical project proposals.

• Assisting in the preparation of fee proposals, tenders, specifications etc.

• Assisting in tender evaluation for expressions of interest and capital works tenders, both technically and commercially.

• Complete analysis and design of power, lighting, lightning, earthing system, communications services.  

• Prepare submission procedures and design standards.

• Required - degree in a relevant professional field

• 10+ years’ relevant professional/technical experience and/or specialization in buildings/industrial buildings

• High level engineering consulting and client management skills

• Experienced in the delivery of major and/or complex design projects to blue chip clients

• Excellent communicator (in both English and Bahasa) with well-developed commercial, analytical, and technical skills

• Sense-making communication skills, being able to explain complex engineering designs and solutions to non-technical audiences

• Experienced in delivering innovative and complex commercial building projects in a fast paced environment

• Experience or interest in managing projects from strategic and detailed planning, concept and detailed design
