We are looking for a Finance Officer to take charge of the financial health of our company by administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements. You should be familiar with audits, invoices and budget preparations. Our ideal candidate demonstrates interest in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. You should also have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks. Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial transactions and procedures.

You will work alongside the other internal audit team, risk division, and monitoring Amartha’s operational activities to deliver improvement of business process quality of Amartha.

Our Internal Audit team is a growing family of currently 20 people based in Jakarta. Together with the risk team, the core of our role is to always strive to create a stable & risk-free inside Amartha’s ecosystem of solutions and in the end to give back from Amartha to community.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring audit plan is executed properly and sufficient audit evidence and/or documentation is obtained to support audit findings
• Collect and analyze data to detect anomaly transaction, deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
• Implement systems and procedures related to audit process.
• Demonstrate the ability to identify root cause of audit process.
• Prepare audit working papers in complete, systematic, and timely manner and ensure those are documented in accordance with professional standard.
• Prepare detailed audit report.
• Providing insightful recommendations to minimize or eliminate risks to shareholders.
• Monitor open issues and ensure implementations of recommend internal control measures.
• Maintain good relations with the Auditee and third counterparts during the implementation of internal audit assignment.
• If required, conduct investigations into fraud cases.

• Bachelor’s Degree in economics, accounting, management, or in another business related discipline from top grade universities.
• At least 4 year(s) audit experience in banking industry or audit consulting firm as risk or audit advisor is preferable.
• Certified banking internal auditor, risk management or related certification would be an advantage.
• Proficient in Ms. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Have a good knowledge in internal auditing and risk management.
• Familiar with COSO framework and concept.

• Responsible for procurement life-cycle and vendor management for marketing, work equipment, IT assets and services, and various ready-made or custom materials and services
• Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality while working with cross-functional stakeholders
• Develop, implement and manage an annual vendor review process and an ongoing vendor approval process
• Analyze spend to develop cost reduction road maps and strategies
• Work with the legal department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the company
• Manage vendor onboarding and verification, and ensure NDAs are set in place to protect company information

Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations

Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans

Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc

Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process

Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement

Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings

Maintain open communication with management and audit committee

Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum

Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions

Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards

Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance or related field

Proven working experience as Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor at least 5 years experience

Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations

Has allowed the Fit and Proper Test by OJK as Internal Audit at previous/ current company

Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases

High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

• Lead a team and monitor Third Party team's performance to ensure all standards and targets are met.
• Responsible for overall Third party team operational activities from briefing to debriefing.
• Manage overall team performance standards and compliance.
• Liaise with trainer, supervisor, and management to increase collection rate of NPL late users.
• Perform meeting with the management team to cover performance results and solution or action items

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in finance, banking, or a related field.
• Have at least 2 years of experience as a Supervisor or team leader.
• Have a strong interest in the financial technology industry.
• Possess experience in Agency Management (preferred).
• Exhibit effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building abilities.
