What you will be doing:

• Assist and coordinate hotel financial planning and budget management function.
• Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.

MidPlaza Holding is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Director of Finance to join our hospitality business team in Bali. As the Assistant Director of Finance, you will work closely with the Director of Finance to oversee the financial operations of our organization. You will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies and objectives to support the organization's goals and objectives.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights.
• Lead and develop finance team members, including coaching and performance management.
• Coordinate and liaise with auditors and tax consultants.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the similar position.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Sun System, Material Control System, or SAP.
• Working knowledge of OPERA PMS and Symphony POS system.
• Proficient in advanced Excel is a must.
• Hands-on knowledge of Tax Accounting.
• Proven track in strong Accounting operational and analytical skill.
• Good command of English in both verbal and written.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Melakukan recovery Point (cabang) pasca fraud/high PAR (menunggak) dengan penugasan selama 3-6 bulan di Point yang direkomendasikan
• Berkoordinasi dengan BM, AM, RM, HMB terkait strategi recovery PAR dan evaluasi pencapaian bulanan
• Memberikan pendampingan perbaikan bisnis proses, mapping majelis, & revamping majelis.

• SIAP ditempatkan di seluruh cabang Amartha di Indonesia selama 3 - 6 bulan
• Berpengalaman dalam industri finansial minimal 2 tahun atau berpengalaman di perusahaan keuangan lainnya
• Memahami dan berpengalaman dalam bidang collection serta penanganan nasabah bermasalah
• Memahami & implementasi bisnis proses berdasarkan konsep Grameen model

What you will do but not limited to: 

• Assisting in the day-to-day financial operations of company in Bandung Area. 
• Ensure the existence of the commercial transaction in field, as well as the accuracy of quantity and payment received. 
• Verify the accuracy of invoice information and other supporting documents required in a transaction. 
• Perform payment process and collection during commercial activities. 
• Perform data entry and reconciliations to ensure the proper and accurate records of financial transactions. 
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on payments and collection activities

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance, Finance Administration, and/or Accounting. 
• Minimum 1 years of experience in finance or accounting related field. 
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Trustworthy and willing to go the extra mile. 
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software. 

• Ability to work independently and in a team. 
• Experienced in agriculture is preferable.
