We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Finance Operations Specialist to join our finance team. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of financial operations and processes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in finance, accounting, and operations, with an analytical mindset and the ability to manage complex financial data. As a Sr. Finance Ops Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for daily reconciliation settlement and disbursement transactions and ensure that all transaction have been accurately recorded and processed.
- Promptly and comprehensively responds to follow-ups and special cases/concerns
- Collaborate with finance team for day-to-day tasks and end of day reporting
- Performing monthly reconciliation management fee from Investment Managers.
- Ensure management fee have been accurately recorded in internal system.
- Communicate effectively with internal team, partners, and others to gather information and resolve cases.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of reconciliation processes and procedures.
- Support to other departments as needed
- Support direct Supervisor/Head Division/Team/Committee in terms of the work to its ad-hoc/project based
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting Information, Financial Management or Economics
- Experience within funds industry knowledge, the financial trading and financial instruments, especially mutual funds and bonds.
- Understand the mutual fund prospectus and fund fact sheet.
- Experience with daily calculation and reporting of the Net Asset Value (NAV) process
- Knowledge of corporate governance frameworks, securities regulations, and compliance standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products, markets, and trends
- Maintain good relationships with partners, internal teams, and other entities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and get used to reconcile big data
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
