This newly created opportunity to be our Intern based in Jakarta, will play a critical role in supporting our Luxasia team focusing in Marketing department. Working with team on administrative, maintenance and projects to achieve immediate and long-term objectives of the organisation.

This role is within different function, that undertakes several strategic and high priority projects for the achieving the medium and long term objectives of the organisation. This is a high-paced role which entails working with brand managers, executives and the company leadership team on high priority engagements. This is an exciting opportunity amidst a critical time for Luxasia to turn the business around.

It is also a challenging role, requiring strong analytical and time management skills, as well as administrative, mathematical, communication skills – to work closely with external as well as internal within Luxasia.

Principal Accountabilities/ Scope:

• Be part of our team working on ongoing strategic projects and supporting our day-to-day execution of project work streams.
• Be supporting in identifying, aligning and maintaining the execution of each tasks
• Be responsible for preparing monthly reports.
• Support team on operational matters such as competitor and market visit, tester checker, promotional items, etc.

Experience:

• Expertise in Excel and retail industry is a plus.
• Student in university

Work with and support the Head of Country Marketing in the strategic development and seamless execution of key consumer and customer marketing programs.

Consumer/Strategy

• Supporting the execution of consumer marketing campaigns

• Supervising Indonesia social agency in the execution of social content production

• Preparing regular competitive review, and conducting desktop research on consumer, market/industry, and current trends

• Leading the production of POSM and merchandising, and supervising the POSM placement

• Leading Visa Indonesia Website and offer page maintenance

Customer

• Supporting the relationship and executions of co-marketing campaigns with Visa Client banks, which utilizing Visa global (FIFA, Olympic) and regional sponsorship (Shanghai Fashion Week, Wellington on a Plate, Taronga Zoo, etc.) assets, as well as Client-led events

• Leading marketing projects revenue reporting

• Leading the production of EDMs of Visa offers for distribution to Visa Client banks.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

You'll be representing the company to customers, and be responsible for achieving annual territory sales targets through sustainable and consultative account management and maintaining an awareness of the business and competitive trading environment. You will be reporting into the Sales Manager in Indonesia.

What you’ll be doing:

Help us progress human progress through knowledge! As a Sales Executive, Online Resources you will aid in our mission by :

• Achieving and exceeding annual territory sales targets across each profit centre, contributing to the overall revenue and profit objectives of the division
• Plans, schedules and carries out regular sales visits to customers to achieve financial targets within own sales region across product portfolio, customizing sales documentation and tools to maximize sales opportunities.
• Cultivate strong, holistic relationships with the customer base, working to ensure that trading with each account is sustainable, profitable and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction
• Report periodically to managers on sales progress and the business environment, this ensuring responsiveness to both the micro and macro trading conditions.
• Collects and disseminates market, competitor, and customer feedback, including passing on leads where the customer and business would be better served by a different T&F channel/offering
• Establish a strategic approach to the short, medium and long term business on territory, to ensure that activity is both relevant and flexible to the evolving trading environment over time
• Prepares for, attends, and contributes to sales meetings and events to build strategic awareness and to gather market relevant intelligence.
• Actively liaise with stakeholder departments or groups within the business to enhance T&F’s coverage of the territory – includes credit control, editorial, marketing and sales support
