Your Career

As an Associate Systems Engineer, you will join a cohort of recent college graduates for an immersion into Palo Alto Networks platform, automation, and cybersecurity across network, endpoint, and cloud. This program includes up to 24 months of formal technical instruction with hands-on labs, both group and individual projects, technical study, and professional skills development.  As you advance through the program, you will be placed with various sales engineering teams to learn how to support customers during the pre-sales process.

While ramping on the Academy development track you will work alongside other SE teams to learn and support the other critical work with customers within the presales process. As part of your development, you will work as a technical advisor in tandem with our sales and channel partners on customer engagements, establishing relationships with customers with the goal of helping them ensure each day is more secure than the one before.

Upon completion of the program, you will have gained proven technical and professional skills, shown qualification across multiple certifications, and rotations with senior SEs to take on a field SE position in any number of cities across the US based on business needs. Our SEs are among the best in the cybersecurity industry, with a deep technical understanding of cybersecurity products, integrations, and the critical cyber threats facing our potential customer’s environments.

The Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, aligning how we best serve our customers in understanding their environment, providing solution guidance and ensuring value realization in their investment with Palo Alto Networks. 

As a Solutions Consultant you provide technical leadership and expertise and guidance in your customer’s security transformation journey.  You will play a key role in defining technical solutions that secure a customer’s key business imperatives and ensuring value realization of their investment with Palo Alto Networks.  You evangelize our industry leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security operations services that establish PANW as your customer’s cybersecurity partner of choice.

Your Career

As a Palo Alto Networks National Channel Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for
presenting the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation security platform and technology
solutions to Palo Alto Networks' most strategic and impactful channel partners.

As a National Channel SE, You represent the company as a technical advisor tasked with building excitement and support for the company with the partner's sales and technical teams. You take ownership of the technical relationship with our channel partners to demo, train, enable, communicate with and continually engage technical partner team members by proactively managing and delivering technical content and building relationships either onsite, online, and via telephone. You will be tasked with specific recruitment, enablement, training and communication objectives aligned with the objectives of Palo Alto Networks. In the National SE role, you will primarily work with your CBM and partner leadership to create and execute on your business plan, leveraging the regional SEs and regional sales teams to help drive and facilitate that plan.

The Cortex Systems Engineer is the interface between business and technology. Working closely both internally - with product and engineering to share feedback from the field, and externally - with our prospects and customers to understand their business needs and to design technical solutions that take the best advantage of the Cortex platform.
