Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced accountant to help run the finance function for Indonesia which contributes significantly to our South-East Asia region that covers Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam.

• Manage end-to-end financial accounting for Indonesia which includes performing month-end accounting closing, including but not limited to journal adjustments, bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliation schedules, revenue recognition reports.
• Preparation and submission of monthly management accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet) and related schedules as a part of Group reporting. Presentation of results and providing clarifications to the Country/Regional business Leaders, as and when needed.
• Review vendor invoices and expenses processed by our offshore services team, and ensuring accounting is accurate and acceptable. Initiate vendor payments through internet banking.
• Review client invoices and credit notes with attention to values, timeliness of collections, associated costs in earning the revenue, potential accruals and deferrals of income.
• Responsible for filing sales tax returns (GST/SST/VAT/WHT). Working closely with the tax advisors to finalize tax computations and filing necessary tax returns.
• Interact with External Auditors for interim and annual audit – provide information and schedules for audit, drive efficiencies from the finance service provider and external auditors, and provide explanations to ensure smooth and timely audits.
• Assist with preparation of annual budgets, expense utilization run rates, submission of monthly P&L forecasts, timesheet and payroll cost monitoring.
• Preparation of cash flow statements on weekly basis, align with business teams and credit control team to execute related strategies from senior management.
• To become the finance systems’ champion and a finance subject matter expert to our business teams in SEA. Perform any other finance tasks as assigned from time to time by the Senior Manager.

• This sales engineering team manages all Core Banking opportunities across International Markets. Our mission is to take all stakeholders on a compelling and exciting journey towards new, sustainable and profitable business for FIS and the prospect. 

What you will be doing:

• At the forefront of positioning FIS Solutions and Services to our existing clients and new prospects by applying a consultative selling approach

• At the core of shaping the overall proposition with the sales team, including liaison with finance, legal, product, delivery and support teams

• Listening, diligently, to our prospects' current challenges and requirements

• Translating these into solutions and building a benefits case and value proposition, by using FIS Solutions and Services during the Rfx process

• Leading prospect workshops, demoing our capabilities and Proof of Concepts

• Leveraging your market insights and detailed knowledge of the FIS Solutions to support product teams by providing feedback to drive the future roadmap and product strategy

• Continually supporting the enhancement of our go to market propositions, to ensure we remain highly competitive

• Be an authority /trusted advisor internally and externally on core banking

What you bring:

• Presence, charisma and grit; the drive to be successful

• Experience working at a Consultancy firm, a Vendor (like FIS), a Bank or a Core Banking Fintech (minimum 8 years in core banking)

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with a focus on consultative value-based selling

• An ability to lead conversations with internal and external senior stakeholders and drive outcomes

• An ability to create various artifacts related to sales collateral with aesthetic brilliance 

• Pre-Sales experience in some capacity

• Fluency in a local language such as Thai or Filipo and English to a good level

• Core Banking domain and industry knowledge

This position is responsible for assisting the Accounting Department in financial analysis, creating timely and accurate financial statements, reconciliation of accounts and financial reporting projects.

Essential functions

• Process month-end, quarter-end and year-end balancing and journal entries.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year–end financial reports showing operating performance.
• Involvement in eliminations, consolidations and financial analysis of assigned business regions.

Knowledge and Experience

Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related filed

At least 3 years of experience in credit operations of similar size/style of hotel.

Proficient in PMS Opera and MS Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Presentable, well-groomed with leadership quality. 

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

Highly responsible & reliable

Ability to work well under pressure and independently in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
