Responsibilities

• General Ledger Management: Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.

• Accounts Payable: Process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization.

• Accounts Receivable: Manage the invoicing and collection process, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collection of receivables.

• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring all financial data is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.

• Expense Reporting: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards and maintain accurate financial records.

• Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

The position will be responsible of an Accuracy in Accounting journals and doing some reconciliation. Liaise with suppliers/ hotels in proceed payment. Provide data for monthly tax compliance. To support Financial Controller  maintaining clean and clear Financial Statement (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement)

• Issue VAT invoices, process VAT returns
• Manage debtors and creditors
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts data correctly on a timely basis
• Reconcile the receivable/payable accounts to ensure that all payments/funds are accounted for and properly posted
• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients billing issues, provide statement of account to client when required
• Follow up with suppliers and ensure payment are done with no late in due dates.
• Manage general ledger, month-end and year-end process
• Provide weekly/monthly/yearly reports follow local and group company requirement
• Process tax filings and ensuring statutory compliance of the company
• Assist in tax audits and tax returns
• Finalization and audit of the accounts and stock monitoring
• Compliance of local laws, including filing the returns under any law.
• Organize and maintain retention files for required period time.
• Assist with other projects as needed.

• Manage Corporate tax compilation and submission, ensure accurate payment is made 

• Attend to Corporate queries and requests 

• Supervise respective Finance sections and ensure timely submission of all related reports and compliance to policy & procedures 

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Monitor and analyze operating costs, identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets.
• Conduct regular audits of financial processes and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and resort policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Involve in overall financial and accounting functions of the Company.
• Work with shared service team on closing process and reporting package submission.
• Monitor month-end financial close transactions hitting the general ledger and verifying their acceptability and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/ Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• FMCG/ retail industry (B2C) experience, with regional (SEA) exposure is highly desired
• Advance proficiency of Microsoft Excel, SAP experience is an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Main Duties of the Role:

The following are the key duties and responsibilities that will be expected of you within the Firm:

• Ensures good overall maintenance of accounting system and processing of daily accounting transactions in compliance with local and group reporting.
• Working with Regional Finance Controller to prepare statutory financial reports and corporate income tax returns (i.e., fiscal correction).
• Monthly accounting closing, general ledger, and reconciliation.
• Monthly analyses of financial reports highlighting key result areas and performance.
• Preparing monthly WHT and VAT returns.
• Control overheads in accordance with budgets.
• Preparation of internal and external audit requirements and ensure timely submissions and resolution of issues.
• Preparation of tax audit requirements and ensure timely submissions and resolution of issues.
• Ensure compliance with tax and other regulatory requirements.
• Timely and Effective communication to the Managing Director and Regional Finance Controller of all significant matters which may arise related to the Finance function.
• Implementation of adequate internal control and ensure adherence to company finance policies.
• Other ad hoc duties and projects which may be assigned.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting from reputable university with minimum GPA 3.00.
• Minimum working experience of 5 years in accounting or related fields.
• Tax Brevet certification A and B is a plus.
• Understand the basics of accounting, cash flow reporting, financial reporting, tax, and bank reconciliation.
• Have a good knowledge of Indonesian Accounting Standard (Pernyataan Standar Akutansi Keuangan or “PSAK”) and International Financial Accounting Standard (“IFRS”).
• Strong accounting and financial analytic skills.
• Accurate, detailed oriented, and good numeracy skills.
• A team player.
• Highly uphold integrity and confidentiality.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Strong computer skills, especially in Excel.
• Experience at an international organization is preferred.
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
