- Assist the Chief Engineer in the daily operation, facilitate effective repair and maintenance of the Hotel Asset
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Engineering and Maintenance operations in an efficient condition to ensure the safety and comfort of guests and employees
- Support Guest experience through programmed maintenance of the Hotel in all areas from Public Areas to Guest rooms
- Drive the Engineering team to be efficient and effective when it comes to maintaining the Hotel Asset
- Be a key leader of the Hotel’s Fire & Safety culture, conducting training and ensuring the equipment is in top working condition following all local government regulations
- Department Training Champion, ensuring effective, regular training is conducted to Support the HOD's responsibility in this area
- Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times by the Hotel team & contractors. BizSAFE 3
- Always look for energy, water, and other efficiencies that the Hotel can apply to reduce our impact on the environment and operating costs
- Led a team of engineering and Maintenance Specialists responsible for all engineering operations such as troubleshooting operations, repairs, maintenance of mechanical, and electrical service, and general building
- To ensure the compliance of all local Fire & Safety, building control & environmental codes and regulations
- Coordinate and link with various service companies, contractors, consultants, architects, government, etc.
