• Responsible for ongoing communication of pertinence using the logbook provided to other shifts.
• Responsible for ensuring that clear and constant communication lines are kept with all staff, other area and Departments.
• To ensure that all guest enquiries and requests are attended to in a helpful, professional yet warm and friendly manner.
• To ensure on a daily basis that you are fully aware of all arrivals to the Hotel, and in particular, VIP’s and return guests, and that you are aware of any special requests so that they may be acted accordingly.
• To ensure that you are completely aware of the complete range of services and facilities that the hotel provides to its guests and visitors.
• To ensure you have a complete and thorough knowledge of the outlets of the hotel, their operating hours and the scope of services that they provide.
• To ensure that Guest Relations Desk is not left unattended at anytime whilst on duty.
• To be completely aware of the Fire and Emergency Procedures of the hotel and your responsibilities in an emergency.
• To acquire, through training provided, a complete knowledge of all policies and policies as set down by the hotel that relate specifically to the Guest Relations.
• Efficient in assisting guests throughout their stay with any requirements, handling guest feedback, provide direction and give suggestions 
• Handle guests’ mails, messages, and answering phone calls
• Maximizing room revenue by up-selling to a higher rate category and selling the highest possible rates for walk-in guests
• Ensure the safety, security and loss control policies and procedures are compiled with at the front desk and back office area 
• Perform any related duties and special projects as requested by the Front Office Manager, Reception and Duty Manager 

• Perform check IN/OUT of guests using Opera cloud.
• Welcome and greet guests, answer inquiries and incoming calls.
• Prepare occupancy and guests report
• Maintain group and individual arrival report daily.
• Inform guests of hotel rates and services and create/cancel/confirm reservations.
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
• Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs

Sales Manager - Wedding and Social Event:

• Attract and engage clients by promoting the hotel as the ideal venue for weddings and social events.

• Customize event packages and coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.

• Drive revenue growth by meeting sales targets and staying competitive in the market.

Marketing & Communication

• Maintain good working relationships with local and international media

• Maintain current media lists: local and international travel, leisure, lifestyle, entertainment, business and food editors

• Execute media placements for hotel through news releases and personal contacts

• Develop business and leisure travel promotions; release to press and/or target audience

• Explore valuable media trades where appropriate

• Serve as hotel spokesperson, when appointed by General Manager, to make all official statements for hotel to media, especially during crisis situations

• Maintain photo/electronic library of hotel Executive Committee and all other aspects of hotel

• Maintain and update hotel’s website

Reporting to Director of Sales and working closely with Food & Beverage Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to the Revenue,
• Responsible for planning, promotion and managing all Wedding and Social events
• Receive and convert incoming inquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
• Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the Team
• Manage an events schedule to maximize yield
• Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
• Be aware of trends and propose ideas to build the range and quality of Catering &Events, consistently wowing our guests with creative and innovative ideas
• Build strong relationships with customers and to fully understand their needs
• Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds
• Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events to full satisfaction of client
• Maintain exceptional levels of guest service
• Ensure compliance of brand standards
• Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
