About The Team

Amartha is actively expanding its digital risk management team as part of our strategic focus on digital transformation in 2025. We are looking to strengthen our capabilities in managing digital lending risks to support our growing portfolio of digital financial products. To this end, we are currently seeking a highly skilled E-Money and Digital Delivery Risk Lead to join our team. This role will play a critical part in shaping and overseeing the risk management strategies for our digital lending platforms, ensuring that we continue to provide secure and effective financial solutions to our customers while mitigating potential risks in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a risk management framework for e-money services aimed at Amartha Link agents, focusing on operational, fraud and credit risks.
• Implement controls specific to the Amartha Link agents, including transaction limit, fraud detection system, and secure onboarding process. 
• Assess risk associated with e-money usage by Amartha Link agents, particularly around high-volume, low-volume transactions, cross-border payments, cash flow fluctuations, and account-take over.
• Collaborate with data science teams to develop Amartha Link agents-specific risk scoring models and fraud detection algorithms. 
• Work closely with product, tech, business, operations teams to ensure risk controls are integrated into e-money products and services for Amartha Link agents.
• Prepare reports and presentations to stakeholders on the performance and risk exposure of e-money and agents services.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and stay informed of changes in regulatory policies.

• 5+ years’ experience in risk management, preferably within e-money, digital payments, fintech, or MSME banking service.
• Experience working with MSME users/ segments, with a deep understanding of the financial needs and risks associated to this segment. 
• Proven track record in managing risks related with digital financial services, including fraud detection, transactions monitoring. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams and external partners
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements related to e-money services.

To this end, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital and Embedded Lending Risk Lead to join our team. This role will play a critical part in shaping and overseeing the risk management strategies for our digital lending platforms, ensuring that we continue to provide secure and effective financial solutions to our customers while mitigating potential risks in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain credit risk policies and frameworks for digital lending products and/or embedded finance products.
• Analyze credit data and customer profiles to define lending thresholds, risk tolerance, and approval criteria.
• Establish exposure limits-based analysis for partners.
• Propose risk-adjusted pricing strategies based on customer risk profiles.
• Monitor portfolio performance and loan repayment trends to adjust risk policies and mitigate potential losses. 
• Collaborate with data science teams to continuously improve risk scoring models and decision engines.
• Partner with product, business, operation, collection etc to align credit policies with business growth strategies and customer needs. 
• Prepare reports and presentations on portfolio health and risk exposure for stakeholders
• Drive innovation in credit risk assessment methods, particularly using alternative data sources and digital-first strategies.
• Monitor changes in regulatory environments and adjust policies to maintain compliance with evolving legal frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field are a plus.
• 5+ years experience in credit risk management, policy development, or risk analysis, ideally within digital lending, banking, leasing (multifinance) and fintech.
• Strong understanding of credit underwriting and portfolio management.

You will lead the end-to-end analytics process, from framing business questions to creating actionable insights. This role requires technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for uncovering data trends that shape business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analytics Strategy:
• Collaborate with business units to identify key business questions and define analytics goals.
• Develop frameworks for analyzing marketing performance, digital customer journeys, and commercial product outcomes.
2. Platform Implementation:
• Oversee the integration of analytics platforms across digital and offline marketing channels, mobile apps, and websites.
• Define tagging requirements and communicate technical specifications to tech teams for implementation. E.g. Clevertap, Google Analytics, Adjust MMP platforms. 
3. Data Integration and Reporting:
• Combine analytics data with financial, operational, and other data sources to deliver holistic insights.
• Build intuitive reports and dashboards using tools like Redash, Tableau, Superset, or similar platforms.
4. Data Analysis and Insight Generation:
• Analyze customer behaviors across offline and online channels, focusing on acquisition, engagement, and retention metrics.
• Present findings to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable business recommendations.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as a bridge between marketing, technical, and business teams, ensuring alignment on data goals.
• Educate teams on how data is sourced, manipulated, and applied for decision-making.

1. Experience:
• 4 - 8 years in marketing or digital analytics.
• Proven experience with mobile app and web analytics, including user behavior and commercial performance.
• Familiarity with online and offline channel analytics (e.g., social media, SEM, CRM campaigns, offline events).

2. Technical Skills:
