As Marcomm Coordinator, your essential responsibilities and duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in developing and implementing the company's overall marketing strategy.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and target audiences.
• Coordinate with marketing/PR/social media managers, designers and content creators to produce high-quality marketing materials.
• Manage and maintain marketing databases through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Track and analyze campaign performance and report on key metrics using data analytics tools (e.g., website traffic, leads generated).
• Support with event planning and execution (e.g., media events, campaign launches, trade shows).
• Ensure distribution of internal and external marketing materials and communication.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and tools.
• Conduct market research to identify target audiences, competitor trends, and marketing opportunities.
• Manage marketing budgets

I. Responsible Sourcing Certification Implementation:

• Coordinate and support activities related to the implementation of LDC Coffee’s Responsible Sourcing certification, ensuring compliance with industry standards and ethical sourcing practices.
• Collaborate with Agronomists, Field Technicians, and external stakeholders (suppliers, auditors, experts) to ensure farmers meet certification requirements.
• Maintain and track progress of certified farms and work to expand the certification program in line with the established RS business plan.

II. Stronger Coffee Initiative Coordination:

• Support the coordination and execution of the Stronger Coffee Initiative, a global program aimed at strengthening partnerships with coffee farmers, improving their livelihoods, and fostering sustainable farming practices.
• Work closely with the SCI manager and the Sustainability team to ensure alignment with global sustainability goals and commercial plans in executing on-farm activities (farmer training programs, carbon removal via agroforestry, regenerative demo-plots, etc.).
• Monitor and report on the impact of the Stronger Coffee Initiative, identifying areas for improvement and growth.

III. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Act as a liaison between internal teams, external stakeholders, and certification bodies to ensure smooth execution of programs.
• Foster strong relationships with coffee farmers, suppliers, local communities, and industry partners to promote sustainability and responsible sourcing practices.

IV. Data Management & Reporting:

• Supervise data collection by Field Technicians and work closely with the Sustainability Analyst on data analysis to ensure that all initiatives are tracked, evaluated, and communicated to key stakeholders.
• Prepare reports on progress towards sustainability goals for project donors and internal stakeholders, identifying key achievements, challenges, and next steps.

V. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest sustainability trends, certification requirements (e.g., EUDR, 4C, Rainforest Alliance), and key topics such as Regenerative Agriculture, Carbon Reduction Strategies, and Living Income benchmarks.
• Propose and implement best practices to enhance the impact of sustainability programs across all regions.

Some of your duties will include:

·        Directly supervise process maintenance electrical and instrumentation Downstream/ Upstream equipment;

·        Schedule work orders, preventive maintenance, equipment, employee vacations, employee training and employee shifts to achieve desired throughput and availability;

·        Direct and enforce departmental procedures/policies, administer discipline, enforcing company policies, enforcing applicable safety and environmental laws and regulations.

·        Conduct safety meetings, staff meetings, planned task observations and safety inspections.

·        Regularly Facilitates and /or attends Safety toolbox meeting

·        Carry out pre-shift, pre-use & general inspections at required intervals also Conduct regular on the job task observations, provide feedback.

·        STP reviewed for all tasks before commencing work

·        Competence and understanding of logical troubleshooting techniques also Participation in group problem solving initiatives (ie RCFA).

·        Ensure that All Crew Members Understand and Follow Standard Task Procedure

·        Ensure that work is completed in a timely fashion to satisfactory Standard

·        Daily targets are derived from weekly targets which are, in turn derived from monthly targets

·        System in place for periodic review of W/O's, equipment history and costs to identify opportunities for improvement

·        Maintain clear & concise position descriptions, communicate responsibility and accountability of role

·        Carry out audits and inspections in compliance with Environmental tracker

·        Maintain all material storage areas to comply with company environmental policies

·        Effective use of new technology to solve old problems

·        Supervises the maintenance and correct use of tools and equipment such as diagnostic and calibration equipment

·        Supervises in interpreting and using blueprints, specifications, vendor data, process flow sheets, drawings and schematic diagrams

·        Supervises in installing instrument components, lay-outs of job and fabricating cable tray supports

·        Supervises in performing calibration of process instrumentation and in modifying control loops,

·        Removes/replaces instruments, adds and deletes systems. Supervises in performing maintenance and calibration of electrical and mechanical transducers

·        Supervises the installation of pneumatic instruments and lines of air bellows for balancing purposes and hydraulic lines
