This position is for the Technical Architect role in Moladin. The role of a Technical Architect is highly autonomous and independent. As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for solving complex projects and driving all technology advancements, standardization, best practices, and stability for Moladin's existing and upcoming technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and take ownership of cutting-edge solutions to maximize system performance, scalability, and throughput.
• Propose and implement software engineering best practices for Moladin's engineers to follow.
• Collaborate closely with Tech Managers and Program Managers to achieve Tech OKR (Objectives and Key Results).
• Work closely with DevOps to enhance Moladin's end-to-end development process, including automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Nurture the technical skills of engineers through mentoring and organizing regular knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Actively participate in the hiring process by defining competency requirements, screening candidates, and creating interview questions.
• Propose ideas and contribute to engineering initiatives aimed at improving system performance, quality, and availability.
• Create comprehensive documentation for highly complex initiatives and ensure the successful execution of deliverables.
• Collaborate with QA to establish testing best practices, such as integration testing and acceptance testing.
• Be technology and language agnostic, and guide teams on adopting new tech stacks.
• Think pragmatically, be open-minded, and actively give constructive feedback to your peers and counterparts.

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the software development industry, with a specialization in backend development and a solid understanding of frontend and mobile technologies.
• Proven experience in building scalable backend applications/services from the ground up
• Strong expertise in Golang or NodeJS technology ecosystems
• Deep knowledge of various database systems, including relational and non-relational/NoSQL
• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka, SQS/SNS, and RabbitMQ
• Advanced knowledge in monitoring, tracing, alerting, and logging of backend services using common tools such as Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, etc
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud infrastructure in AWS or GCP
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA
• Expertise in microservice best practices and design patterns is essential
• Experience in implementing software development methodologies such as TDD/ATDD/BDD/DDD
• Strong communication skills for effectively conveying ideas and influencing people
• Prior experience in the financial services industry is preferred

ThinkWell is an emerging health systems development organization that is in a major growth phase. Determined to transcend the status quo, ThinkWell was founded in 2011 to provide bold, creative, and practical solutions to helping low- and middle-income countries achieve universal health coverage. While our core area of work is health financing, we take a “whole-of-systems” approach, specializing in five practice areas that intersect with health financing: governance, human resources for health, private sector, public financial management, and research and evaluation.

We are seeking a consultant to support business development capture activities. Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, the consultant will provide support on an anticipated USAID health system strengthening proposal. Work under the consultancy will include both capture and live proposal phases. This role will report to the US-based Business Development Advisor. This person will be expected to contribute to information gathering, outreach, partner coordination, and research.  

This position may be remote but must be based in the Jakarta area in Indonesia. It is expected to start immediately and last through June 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert opinion on the Indonesian health system, especially health financing, HIS, HRH, and integrated care issues, through discussion, email, and written pieces on specific topics.
• Contribute to developing ThinkWell’s approach and solutions to the key challenges to achieving the goals and objectives of USAID’s HSS Flagship project.
• Share relevant policy, research, report, and discussion documents and materials relevant to the Indonesia USAID HSS project.
• Help arrange meetings with potential partners or key stakeholders and represent ThinkWell.
• Estimated level of effort: 20 days over the proposal period (February 1 – June 30).
• Maintain confidentiality of work done and proposal development process.

• BA/BS and 6+ years experience or graduate degree and 4+ years experience. 

• Relevant work experience in business development with a management consulting firm, international NGO, or professional services organization, or, relevant work experience in health system strengthening projects funded by international donors.
• Experience contributing to USAID proposals or projects. Experience in health system strengthening preferred.
• Strong writing, quantitative, negotiating and research skills. 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
• Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills. 
• Fluency in English required.
• Ability to learn quickly, take direction and work independently.
• Ability to use creative, collaborative and consultative approaches to resolving issues.

Job Purpose:  

Working with the Company's Sales Team, the Presales Consultant is responsible for providing presales technical support to the Sales team and presenting tailored demonstrations or qualification discussions to customers and/or prospects. The Presales Consultant also assists the Sales Team with qualifying opportunities – in or out and helping expand existing opportunities through solid questioning. The Presales Consultant will be responsible on conducting Technical Proof of Concept, Demonstration & Presentation on the supported products & solution.

• Assist Account/Product Managers with qualification of opportunities by providing presales technical support.

• Provides pre-sales technical support and deliver deep dive product demonstrations to customers and business partners.

• Delivers training to partners on products solution.

• Contribute to and refine technical RFP/RFI responses

• Coordinating and managing technical validation events (POC)

Job Requirements

• Implement and maintain the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, and production).
• Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly.
