Principal Responsibilities
Regularly conduct department evaluations aimed at promoting and showcasing what’s going well and at improving what’s not going well, following a clear action plan with clear milestones and performance indicators
Lead and coordinate the improving of the skills of the Game Design department in order to align with the studio’s vision, industry trends and the most up to date tools and design processes in the market
Create and execute on his own vision for the Game Design department, aligned with the studio’s long term plan
With strong Live Ops knowledge, identify the game designers with potential and work with them toward building a solid Live Ops core of game designers in the studio
Be an active part of the discussions with relevant studios or projects stakeholders from other Gameloft studios
With relevant Producer, Discuss best practices on projects and coordinate with relevant producers to apply them, as well as raising any issues encountered that need support for solving
Lead and coordinate recruitment and training efforts aimed at aligning the Game Design department with the long term vision of the studio
