AYANA Hospitality is in search of a knowledgeable and innovative Learning & Development Manager to join our team at AYANA Komodo. This pivotal role involves creating and implementing effective training programs that enhance employee skills and align with our organizational goals. As the L&D Manager, you will collaborate with department heads to identify training needs, develop comprehensive training plans, and create engaging learning experiences for all employees. Your ability to drive performance improvement and uphold our brand values is essential to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop training programs that meet the specific needs of various departments and enhance employee performance.
- Conduct training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and observations.
- Create a culture of continuous learning by encouraging knowledge sharing and the pursuit of professional development.
- Deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars to diverse audiences.
- Evaluate training outcomes and impact using metrics and feedback for continuous improvement.
- Oversee the training budget and ensure the effective allocation of resources.
- Support a smooth onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they are well-equipped with the necessary skills.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in training and development.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and various training methodologies.
- Proficient in e-learning technologies and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate employees.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess training needs effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Willingness to relocate to Komodo Island.
