What will you do?

As a Demand Planning & Forecasting Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our supply chain and business operations. You’ll be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and coordinating cross-functional teams to align procurement, fulfillment, and financial plans. Your insights and forecasts will directly impact our business strategies, helping us make data-driven decisions that drive growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Commercial team to develop accurate and effective demand forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
• Support management with risk assessments and develop strategies for mitigating potential challenges.
• Propose and implement solutions to improve the accuracy of demand forecasts.
• Clearly communicate key demand forecast elements (baseline, marketing pushes, seasonality, new area expansions, etc.) to leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on key changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
• Work closely with the Procurement team to develop monthly procurement plans and schedules, ensuring target inventory levels are aligned with demand forecasts.
• Coordinate with the Fulfillment team to manage capacity and schedule inbound and outbound activities.
• Collaborate with Finance to finalize monthly P&L and capital requirement plans.
• Manage the monthly demand, supply, and financial planning process.
• Lead daily cross-functional execution, ensuring monthly plans are executed smoothly.

Trading Operations:

• Develop upstream procurement for Robusta, establish protocols and procedures to ensure efficiency and quality of operations;
• Execute trading strategies to optimize profitability while managing risk effectively;
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of contracts;
• Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to coordinate the smooth flow of goods.

Market Analysis:

• Stay abreast of global market trends, pricing dynamics, and supply-demand factors related to soluble coffee;
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and risks.

Contract Negotiation :

• Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers and customers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions;
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all contracts are following regulations and company policies

Supplier and Buyer Relationship:

• Build and cultivate strong relationships with coffee suppliers and buyers to ensure a reliable and diversified network, negotiating favorable terms and conditions to support the company's trading activities;

Risk management:  

• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate price fluctuations and market uncertainties.
• Monitor and assess potential risks in the supply chain and implement proactive measures to address them.
• Monitor and manage yields and quality throughout the supply chain.

Reporting:  

• Prepare regular reports and presentations on trading performance, market insights, and recommendations for strategic adjustments;

Team Collaboration:  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless execution of trading operations;

 Sales Target:

• Build/find new customers, open new markets, ensure sales target and growth rate;

• Manage , Drive and Control Planning activities - Demand Planning & PPC 
• Drive for effective logistics cost through any related logistic activity.
• Do improvement for all Planning & Logistics processes.
• Lead & support New product introduction projects which related to Supply Chain
• Lead & support project management, materials management, and logistics management.

• Uploading tax invoices to Government Tax System.
• Providing supporting data for invoices mitigation and detective control (DC).
• Receiving and doing a daily check of delivery notes from the transporter (soft copy via share point) and also keep and filling the hard copy DNs.
• Collecting and submitting data for new and current customers
• Supporting admin tasks (Internal Issue Sales Order, Proforma Invoice, and Credit & Debit Memo WorkOn creation request).
• Putting stamps on hard copy invoices and sending it to customers.
• Supporting department’s projects and events.

• Sales order and delivery note processing in SAP
• Billing processing in SAP
• Assisting with TMS checking
• Billing documents hardcopy filling for customers.
• Import documents hardcopy archiving
• Invoice processing to FI, and monitoring payment to vendor (surveyor, audit companies, customs broker, etc).
• (SAP training will be provided)

• Sourcing and purchasing materials to suppliers (merchants, distributors, and principals)
• Ensuring product availability to the supplier
• Ensuring product information (item, product, price, and stock) is updated in admin tools
• Liaising with suppliers to negotiate prices and delivery times
• Ensuring timely delivery of products to customers
• Own product & pricing verification in B2B projects and supply to Toko Bangunan
• Independently solve problems for partners and clients by developing innovative and tailored solutions
• Build strong relationships with suppliers (merchants, distributors, and principals)

The Assistant Manager Supply Chain performs sales forecast planning (PSI planning), revenue recognition process control, logistic cost control, import/export handling, logistic scheduling, inventory management for product parts and accessories in a warehouse in line with the organizational strategy and guidelines. He/she will ensure the execution of the registration/market access process (regulatory affairs) so that product launch schedules are met, customer satisfaction is achieved including compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements.

• Making reliable sales forecast and getting consensus with Sales and Marketing as a basis of necessary inventory replenishment.
• Keeping optimal inventory level in line with sales, marketing, service requirements on monthly basis.
• Coordinate with 3PL for vessels scheduling, ETD/ETA updates, Bill of lading, document check and custom clearance updates from 3PL.
• Input inventory purchases into Stock/inventory system . Report exceptions like shortages, damages etc.
• Report on back order, short stock, excess items, slow moving inventory of products and accessories and communicate to concerned stake holders. Work on inventory optimization.
• Time to time review of logistics and warehouse operational expenses in line with monthly budget. Work on logistics supply route optimization to fulfill the demand on time.
• Execute the process of product registration and market access approval in the designated countries including providing all required documents and certificates within the specified timeframe proactively to allow “as early as possible” product registration.

• Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain or related field
• Min 5-10 years experience in supply chain
• Strong cross functional communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic INCO terms, shipping, custom requirements
• ERP Knowledge of SAP/JDE/Anaplan
• Good knowledge of import/export documentation and regulation.
• Knowledge of 3PL operations and logistics planning/scheduling is preferred.
• Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Words, Excel, Pivot table)

Position Purpose:      

• To oversee all aspects of accounts relating to the PO and distribution of goods and the maintenance of the client’s needs. Work with all stakeholders both internal and external parties. Models and acts in accordance with existing guiding principles and SOP.
• To oversee the inbound flow for SK-II markets. Assist to coordinate with various stakeholders such as demand planners, freight forwarders, suppliers and warehouse to ensure inbound flow (from order processing to goods receipt) is timely and accurate.

Description of Duties:

Supply Logistics :

• Assist Demand Planner and import team, work closely with warehouse team
• Consolidate all procurement orders for SK-II market and submit to principal
• Process orders, shipping documents, and invoices in a timely and accurate manner. 
• Follow up closely on order fulfillment and item availability
• Track freight spending.
• Provide weekly inventory and stocks in transit report and disseminate to stakeholders
• Manage stocks transfer for different sites

Customer Service :

• Create and process sales orders in SAP
• Create and process return orders from customer in SAP
• Prepare order fulfillment report, sales report, and inventory report
• Monitor delivery flow from warehouse to customers (vice versa)
• Transaction housekeeping

Knowledge and Skills:

• Possess 3 years of experience in supply chain.
• Good understanding of logistics process
