What is the job purpose?

• Execute marketing research studies by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting marketing research data, writing client reports, and constructing presentations
• Generate polished diagnostic analyses/reports, summarizing BASES conclusions and recommendations in a concise, client-friendly manner
• Support the Client Development team in driving revenue by delivering excellent project work that results in repeat business

Responsibilities

• Execute against projects across a variety of clients, meeting agreed-upon milestones
• Be accountable for high-quality client deliverables in partnership with your Client Consulting team
• Analyze study results to draft reports, and presentations
• Summarize data for the production of tables, charts, and graphs

This role is also accountable for activities related to Quality checks (Acid tests, Primary testing of data, Retailer Accreditation) from receipt of the data to data loading into the system for data sources that Nielseniq receives. NIQ seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Analyst with experience in Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Suite. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with excellent database management and analysis. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a well-structured person, and articulative communication ability.

Responsibilities: 

• Monitor and track sales activities, such as customer interactions, leads, opportunities, and follow-up actions, using Microsoft Dynamics to ensure timely and effective customer engagement. 
• Utilize Power BI dashboard to support the sales team by accurately updating pipeline and revenue data reports for sales team consumption.
• Assist in preparing sales forecasts and performance reports, analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales team, Sales Development Representative team, Sales Support team, Marketing and Communication team, and product specialist team) to identify and provide ‘low hanging fruits’ area for sales prioritization. 
• Monitor and ensure smooth renewal process, both from timeline and pricing point of view. 
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales support processes and systems, making recommendations for enhancements and implementing approved changes.
• Coordinate sales team data updates for all customer relationship metrics (e.g., Net Promoter Score, Client Health Track, Hotspot, etc.)

• Quality Testing - support all sourcing Teams, operations and Product Leadership with any requests around data quality testing for new / prospective Suppliers  
• Run Quality checks and provide feedback (Such as Acid test, Retailer Accreditation / other defined quality protocols) on sample data as requested.  
• Data Onboarding - understand the data format agreed with the Supplier as per the contract and complete set up on Ingestion/ any other Input platform 
• Data cleaning, verification and classification as needed 
• Upload of received files to platform as needed 
• Regularly update Supplier KPIs on data timeliness and Quality (RIS) 
• Engage with Supplier SPOC - in case data not received on time or issues with the data 
• Act as the primary point of contact for retailers regarding data delivery, addressing queries, and ensuring timely and accurate data receipt. 
• Visit retailers as needed with RV and DA teams to deliver market insights and improve data quality. 
• Collaborate with DA team to enhance data quality for DA's retailers.

Responsibilities

Client Management

• Address client business needs, diagnosing business issues, and agreeing solutions that fully support clients’ objectives in order to deliver high growth for the NielsenIQ Analytics business while meeting the company's quality standards
• Liaise with other delivery leaders as well as other internal stakeholders (E.g. Sales, Client Service) to ensure alignment on strategies and message for each client
• Ensure all client projects deliver high value to clients with a demonstrated return on investment
• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with the identified key persons within the client organization
• Assist in ensuring adherence to the approved company policies on business conduct/ethics when servicing clients
