Director of Revenue Management

We are seeking a visionary and analytical Director of Revenue Management to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue optimization strategies to maximize our organization's financial performance.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the development and execution of revenue management strategies to optimize pricing and inventory across all channels.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and historical data to forecast demand and make informed pricing decisions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
• Oversee the management of distribution channels and partnerships to maximize revenue opportunities.

We’re expanding and are actively looking for an experienced and highly motivated talent to join our Revenue team. You’ll be working alongside Partnership, Marketing and Customer Success team to generate sales leads in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Build business development pipeline by proactively identifying opportunities and engaging with key prospects
• Plan and execute a territory plan with clear account prioritisation
• Build relationships with multiple stakeholders and influencers across the customers’ organisations

• Uncover customers’ pressures, challenges and priorities to effectively position our offering to meet their business objectives
• Participate in pricing and tender/proposal reviews with senior management to ensure alignment to the customer requirements
• Possess a thorough knowledge of the market, and the solutions and services Xtremax provides

• Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience
• Impressive track record in B2B or B2G sales, with key established connections in the relevant sector
• History of successfully developing and maintaining senior client relationships
• Demonstrate good empathy and listening skills

• A highly self-motivated and independent initiator with excellent interpersonal skills

• Act as Commission Manager, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex commissions or multiple commissions.

The DRM establishes goals and implements tactical efforts, with the goal of promoting revenue growth generation among key customer segments and revenue centers, and supporting the hotel's brand positioning and image. The role is responsible for data quality and analysis, providing gathered intelligence, and recommending revenue and e-commerce strategies to the Commercial Strategy team, as well as other corporate and ownership entities. In addition, the role ensures that inventory allocation and pricing parameters are positioned to support the overall revenue goals of the hotel, while assisting all stakeholders in maximizing profit. The role identifies and mentors RM talent in the hotel.

• Oversee a portfolio of digital media clients, with a focus on strategic vision, team management, process refinement, and financial administration

 Relationship Development
