What you will be doing:

• You’ll provide a friendly and delightful "How's it going - to - See you later" for each guest during every intercation.
• You'll demonstrate high product knowledge about the hotel, its facilities, along with surrounding areas to assist with guest inquiries

Daily Worker - Guest Service Agent.
You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Guest Service Agent will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, including check-in and check-out procedures, answering questions about hotel amenities and services, and handling guest complaints or concerns. They must be able to communicate effectively with guests and other hotel staff, and have a friendly and professional demeanor. Guest Service Agents must also be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment and be a part of creating a memorable experience for them.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

These are active front of house positions involving:

• Providing a high level of customer service 
• Recognising and welcoming regular guests 
• Providing a personalised service and experience for our guests 
• Perform accurate and efficient guest check-in and check- out
• Update and maintain accurate guest details
• Assist with reservation inquiries
• Effectively liaise with other departments to ensure required tasks are completed
• Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas

You will be required to regularly refresh yourself with the Hotel’s facilities and services, including; hotel packages & specials whilst building meaningful rapport with both new and regular guests by maximising the use of guest history.

This position will require availability for morning, evening shifts and weekends. We are looking for someone with a "can-do" attitude who is friendly and outgoing. 

• Conduct shift briefings to communicate hotel activities and operational requirements
• Direct, supervise and coordinate activities in the Telecommunications department
• Develop and implement procedures for proper handling of in and out-going telephone calls, faxes, rental equipment, and other telecommunication services
• Handle guests’ needs and complaints tactfully and efficiently. Investigate complaints regarding telecommunication services and operators and technicians, take appropriate actions.
• Organize and conduct regular meeting for all Telecommunication staff to facilitate communication and a smooth operation     
• Manage and monitor the operation of all equipment, software, hardware to that all units are in good working condition and properly installed. Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of all telecommunication equipment and maintain logbook of equipment performance report
• Investigate and report software problems to respective vendors, coordinate interface problem solving with the hotel’s System Manager
• Maintain records to process telephone calls in the billing system
