This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems on the Company’s rigs. Provides failure-free and technically correct safe operating performance of hydraulic equipment. Inspects, trouble shoots and performs repairs of hydraulic systems, on rig and support equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Inspects hydraulic, hose and cable operated attachments on cranes and on site equipment;
• Overhaul / recondition / performance testing of hydraulic components including fixed and variable displacement pumps and motors, open and closed loop systems, manual, solenoid-operated, proportional and servo valve, hydraulic cylinders, filtration, hoses and pipe assemblies;
• Upgrading and improvement of onsite hydraulic equipment. Perform skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of mechanical / hydraulic systems and equipment;
• Organizes inter-repair maintenance, timely and high-quality repair and modernization of hydraulic equipment, works on increasing its reliability and durability, technical supervision of the condition, maintenance, repair of major and minor equipment, ensures the rational use of materials for repair;
• Supervise adjustment and alignment, new equipment utilization, in equipment tests, in hydraulic equipment acceptance, in hydraulic equipment removal from operations;
• Examine equipment, separate units and component parts working condition, develop and make arrangements for unplanned equipment shut-down prevention, separate units and component parts service life, overhaul life extension, improve integrity of equipment, in service reliability improvement, arrange specialized repair on the rig;
• Takes part in equipment excessive wear, down time root causes investigation, in incidents investigation, in development and implementation of liquidation and prevention activities;
• Maintain control for equipment installation, proper equipment storage at warehouse, check and provide lifting and other equipment to government technical control in time;
• Improve service treatment of operating equipment, repair and preventative maintenance arrangement based on labor mechanization and advanced technologies application, subordinates work management improvement;
• Fulfill requirements for PTW permit to work as required to perform duties;
• Fulfill requirements to safely perform isolations of equipment following the Lock Out Tag Out guidelines and procedures;
• Responsible to service, maintain and diagnose symptoms on the drilling rig equipment; Responsible for rigging up/down the drilling rig as applicable;

The Mechanic position performs all tasks and duties of a mechanical discipline including but not limited to, installing and maintaining engines, hydraulic motors, pumps, compressors, and miscellaneous mechanical devices. The position is responsible for all mechanical Platform equipment The position is also responsible for uploading maintenance and repair data into a Maintenance Management System (MMS).

The Electronics Technician performs all tasks and duties of an technician discipline including but not limited to, installation or maintaining electrical control and instrumentation systems, i.e. electronics, programmable controllers, telecommunications, transmitters, and hydraulic, pneumatic systems. The Electronics Technician is responsible for all electrical and electronic instrumentation equipment pertaining to the drilling of the well, including circulating, rotating, hoisting and well control systems. The position is also responsible for uploading maintenance and repair data into a Maintenance Management System (MMS).

It is the Driller’s responsibility to ensure that the work is performed safely, efficiently and according to procedure. The driller also takes total ownership of everything on the rig floor.

The position is responsible for all operations and departments involved with the drilling and completion of the well. Also, to ensure that all work is performed safety, efficiently and according to procedure. This position is responsible for all operations, including but not limited to, hoisting, circulating, rotating, running casing, cementing or well control. The Toolpusher takes total ownership of all operations, departments and personnel pertaining to the drilling and completion of the well.

The position is also responsible for all operations and departments involved with the equipment commissioning, maintenance, drilling and completion of the well, including but not limited to, hoisting, circulating, rotating, running casing, cementing or well control. Also, to ensure that all associated work is preformed safety, efficiently and according to procedure. The Rig Superintendent takes total ownership of all operations, departments and personnel. This includes ensuring compliance with all company, client, state or federal rules and regulations.

• Monitor drilling parameters and alarm systems.
• Monitor hole fill operations while tripping, logging, cutting drilling line or running casing.
• Record pickup, slack-off, rotating weights, and other drilling parameters.

• Ensure floor and crown savers are function-tested and that testing results are recorded tourly.

• Clean the mast and substructure with a high-pressure steam cleaning unit and/or high pressure wash gun.
• Performs scrubbing and cleaning of rig equipment and drilling packages as required with rig wash.
• Performs chipping and painting on drilling packages and equipment as required.
• Perform additional duties, responsibilities, and special projects as may be directed.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to ensure that all maintenance and repairs of equipment are performed in a safe and efficient manner. The position is responsible for all drilling equipment pertaining to the drilling of the well. The position supervises onsite maintenance personnel to ensure that proper planning and scheduling of pre-determined maintenance is completed accordingly, including the availability of required parts.

Essential Functions:

• Enforce, clarify, and follow Company policies, standards, and procedures while promoting operational excellence through procedural discipline.
• Delegate work effectively with a clear definition of requirements and expectations while ensuring the safety of those working under direct supervision.

• Responsible for reviewing, evaluating and maintaining maintenance schedules for equipment.
• Foresee potential equipment malfunctions or failures and performs required repairs, adjustments or modification to resolve the problem.
• Enters maintenance and repair data into a Maintenance management system (MMS)
• Provide onsite assistance and guidance to maintenance personnel with trouble shooting issues and repair.
• Monitor oil sample results and ensure recommendations are implemented onsite and reported accordingly.
• Track non-destructive testing and major maintenance to be performed at pre-determined intervals.
• Ensure third party contractor’s work meets the quality, cost and safety standards required by the company.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to schedule staffing and resources for the most effective productivity and timely completion of maintenance. Provide technical support for maintenance systems questions and problems.
• Support the HSE objective of no injuries, accidents or harm to the environment as it relates to all maintenance processes, procedures, and policies.
• Comply with platform emergency response plan or station bills during emergencies and/ or drills.
• Ensure Parker Drilling’s Competency program – Authorized to Operate (ATO) and Approved Competent Operator (ACO) are applied and followed.

• Maintain and update asset tags for onsite equipment.

This position is responsible for organizing and managing the equipment, materials and supplies in the warehouse.

Essential Functions:

• Accurately maintain records on all equipment, materials supplies and spare parts in the warehouse.
• Systematically label incoming warehouse items and store appropriately in bins, boxes or containers.
• Work closely with Toolpusher, Mechanic and Electrician to ensure that adequate quantities of spare parts are readily available and that they are ordered, received and issued properly, according to the Company’s internal control procedures.
• As needed, will issue warehouse items and track returned items.
• Prepare Material Requisitions, obtain appropriate approval and forward requisition to Division Office for final approval and ordering.
• Prepare Material Receipts and Material Transfers and forward to Division Administrative Manager to ensure all items are properly accounted for.
• Take physical warehouse inventory annually and send report to Division Administrative Manager for reconciliation against accounting records.
• As appropriate, train staff in proper warehouse duties and procedures.
