• Be a team player, assist the broader team on larger projects, including event production team logistics, running team meetings and project management efforts as needed

You:

• Someone with at least 3 years of experience in all aspects of event management, whether in-house or at an event agency.
• Strong track record of success in events project management: manage, plan, organise, and execute a wide range of successful events from inception to completion, within budget
• Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to oversee multiple events concurrently in a timely and accurate manner
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with agencies, colleagues and suppliers
• Regional/international event management experience
• This is a fully remote role. Candidate should be open to traveling within the SEA region as required
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects across APAC.

As a full-time on-site E-commerce Specialist located in Jakarta, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our online sales channels. Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize BIOTA’s e-commerce website and accounts on third-party platforms such as Tokopedia, Shopee, and Lazada to maximize sales.
• Develop and execute effective e-commerce marketing strategies to increase traffic, conversion rates, and overall sales performance.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilize data analytics tools to evaluate sales trends and consumer behavior.
• Create compelling product listings, including images and descriptions, that enhance product visibility and attract customers.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive messaging and customer experience across all channels.
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to continually improve e-commerce performance

• At least 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce management or digital marketing, preferably in the technology or consumer electronics sector.
• Proven experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify and major online marketplaces like Tokopedia and Shopee.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize strategies based on insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on persuasive content creation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a team leader

Financial Oversight:

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including account reconciliation, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Ensure accurate posting of financial transactions in journals and verify the correctness of financial statements
• Manage the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards (IFRS, GAAP). including gross margin analysis, SKU profitability, and distribution cost analysis

Working Capital Management: 

• Oversee cash flow, receivables, and payables, especially in managing inventory and minimize days sales outstanding (DSO)

Data Management:

• Gather and analyze data from various departments to support financial decision-making
• Serve as a gatekeeper for financial processes, ensuring adherence to established protocols while remaining adaptable to changes

Tax Knowledge:

• Possess a solid understanding of tax regulations WHT 21, 23, 4(2), 25, VAT and implications related to accounting practices
• Assist in tax-related matters, ensuring compliance and optimizing tax efficiency

Compliance: 

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements specific to FMCG or distribution, including audits, tax regulations, and internal controls

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, and operations, and communicate financial insights to senior leadership

System & Process Improvement:

• Be a proactive problem-solver, able to navigate challenges with flexibility and creativity
• Implement and enhance financial systems and processes to increase operational efficiency, streamline distribution costs, and improve financial accuracy
