Position Purpose:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Executive to join our team specializing in retail luxury goods. This role requires a deep understanding of vendor management and strong skills at negotiating, building strong supplier relationships, and maintaining high standards based on company needs.
Description of Duties:
- Look for suppliers/vendors to develop as potential partners for alternative sources, check requirements and budget appropriately.
- Maintain supplier/vendors database, purchasing records and related documentation.
- Analyze various potential suppliers/vendors to support and decide on source selection.
- Generate purchase orders, monitoring and targeting procurement to provide on time, cost-effectively and meet the standards.
- Review and evaluate purchase requests, evaluate bids, and ensure compliance with department and company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with suppliers/vendors, maintaining positive relationships while negotiating specifications, prices and deadlines.
- Good knowledge and understanding of stock analysis, Purchasing and Product Development.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Merchandising, or a related field.
- At least 2+ years of experience in sourcing, merchandising, purchasing, or a similar role within the retail industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Professional, positive attitude, highly motivated, attention to detail and able to work in a team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with clients or vendors and work on purchase orders.
- Able to create Purchase Orders for all criteria based on company needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and able to operate big data with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Having passion for retail and luxury products.
