Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in security solution delivery or related roles within the ICT industry.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity threats, risk management, and security frameworks.
• Experience in deploying and managing MSSP solutions.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Requirement

General Purpose: The Event Manager coordinates the overall planning and execution of events that are scheduled in the hotel’s event spaces. Working with the Event Sales Manager and Executive Chef, the Event Manager guides clients in planning all aspects of their events, from menu to décor, and leads the Banquets & Catering team in fulfilling and exceeding the client’s vision and expectations.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Ownership of all events, from planning to execution with guidance and oversight from Director of MICE.
• Work directly with clients to plan all details of their event, including but not limited to: menus, set-ups and floorplans, AV needs, timelines, etc.
• Creates innovative set-ups, menus, and functions for groups.
• Ensures successful events, exceeding client needs and company profitability guidelines.
• Plans and executes all in-house events and assists in off-site events as needed.

  • menu selection
  • audio visual needs
  • event space set up

• Develops strong communication with Banquet Chef and Food & Beverage team.
• Develops a preferred vendors list and maintains vendor relationships. 
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.

1. Guest Interaction:

   • Greet guests upon arrival at the hotel restaurant, bar, or café.
   • Provide information about food and beverage menus, specials, and promotions.
   • Assist with reservations, special requests, or specific dietary needs of guests.

2. Customer Service:

3. Coordination with F&B Staff:

   • Communicate guest preferences and requests to kitchen staff and service personnel.
   • Work closely with the F&B team (waiters, bartenders, chefs) to ensure smooth service and efficiency.
   • Assist in managing guest orders and seating arrangements.

4. Problem Solving:

   • Resolve guest complaints or service issues in a polite and efficient manner.
   • Offer alternatives, compensation, or special attention to maintain customer satisfaction.

5. Reservation Management:

   • Assist with managing restaurant reservations, ensuring efficient seating and minimizing wait times.
   • Confirm reservations and follow up as necessary.

6. Administrative Duties:

   • Maintain accurate guest records, including preferences and feedback.
   • Handle guest requests for dining arrangements, private events, or special functions.

7. Promotions and Upselling:

   • Promote F&B offerings, such as new menu items, seasonal specials, and events.
   • Upsell drinks, desserts, or higher-value menu items to enhance revenue.

8. Hygiene and Cleanliness:

   • Ensure the restaurant or dining area is clean, well-organized, and aesthetically pleasing.
   • Monitor food safety standards and cleanliness in the F&B area.

9. Event Coordination:

   • Assist in organizing and coordinating special events such as banquets, conferences, or private dinners.
   • Collaborate with the events team to ensure smooth operations.

10. Training and Support:

    • Provide guidance and support to junior F&B staff, ensuring they understand hotel service standards and guest expectations.
    • Participate in training programs to stay updated on best practices in guest relations and service.

• Develop Sales Strategies: Design and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Customer Acquisition: Identify and approach potential clients or customers for corporate accounts, events, and bulk orders.

2. Market Research and Analysis

• Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the F&B industry and consumer preferences.
• Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitors’ offerings, pricing strategies, and promotions to stay competitive.
• Customer Feedback: Collect and analyze feedback from customers to improve sales strategies and product offerings.

3. Sales Administration

• Order Management: Process and track sales orders, ensuring timely delivery of products.
• Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasting, and performance analysis to share with senior management.
• Database Management: Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.
• Contracts and Agreements: Handle the negotiation of contracts, terms, and pricing with clients.

4. Relationship Building

• Networking: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, suppliers, and business partners.
• Customer Service: Address client concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

5. Collaboration

• Team Coordination: Work closely with other departments like marketing, product development, and operations to ensure smooth service and effective sales.
• Event Coordination: Collaborate with event managers or catering teams to provide customized F&B services for events.
• Marketing Support: Assist the marketing team with campaigns, advertisements, and other promotional materials.

6. Budget Management

• Sales Forecasting: Assist in setting sales targets and budgets for the F&B department.
• Cost Control: Help in managing pricing strategies and margins to ensure profitability.

7. Customer Education

• Product Knowledge: Have in-depth knowledge of the F&B products or services offered by the company and educate clients on the menu, ingredients, or sourcing.
• Tasting Events: Host or participate in tastings or promotional events to educate customers about new products or services.

8. Training and Development

• Training Junior Sales Team: Onboard and train new sales staff to maintain high performance and company standards.

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced accountant to help run the finance function for Indonesia which contributes significantly to our South-East Asia region that covers Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam.

• Manage end-to-end financial accounting for Indonesia which includes performing month-end accounting closing, including but not limited to journal adjustments, bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliation schedules, revenue recognition reports.
• Preparation and submission of monthly management accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet) and related schedules as a part of Group reporting. Presentation of results and providing clarifications to the Country/Regional business Leaders, as and when needed.
• Review vendor invoices and expenses processed by our offshore services team, and ensuring accounting is accurate and acceptable. Initiate vendor payments through internet banking.
• Review client invoices and credit notes with attention to values, timeliness of collections, associated costs in earning the revenue, potential accruals and deferrals of income.
• Responsible for filing sales tax returns (GST/SST/VAT/WHT). Working closely with the tax advisors to finalize tax computations and filing necessary tax returns.
• Interact with External Auditors for interim and annual audit – provide information and schedules for audit, drive efficiencies from the finance service provider and external auditors, and provide explanations to ensure smooth and timely audits.
• Assist with preparation of annual budgets, expense utilization run rates, submission of monthly P&L forecasts, timesheet and payroll cost monitoring.
• Preparation of cash flow statements on weekly basis, align with business teams and credit control team to execute related strategies from senior management.
• To become the finance systems’ champion and a finance subject matter expert to our business teams in SEA. Perform any other finance tasks as assigned from time to time by the Senior Manager.
