Introducing the role

Zinc seeks a Grants and Procurement Manager for a US State Department funded program to help promote information integrity and independent media in Indonesia. The program will provide independent media and civil society organisations with grants, capacity building and training to help them produce and disseminate engaging, fact-based content.

The Grants and Procurement Manager will be responsible for the process of grant making, managing activities from pre-award to close out. They will support the production of all necessary documents and reporting, ensuring grants are issued, compliance rules are followed, and support is provided to grantees as required. What you’ll be doing:

What you will do but not limited to:

• Manage and optimize end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contract management
• Conduct surveys to evaluate potential partners and commodities based on predefined parameters
• Support procurement activities for digital goods and other operational sourcing needs
• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to drive cost savings and efficiency
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide guidance and support in supplier selection and evaluation

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or any related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Experience in the Agribusiness sector is preferred
• Strong knowledge of vendor management, contract management, and resource management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
