Job Purpose

This position is responsible for providing an exceptional customer service assistance, accurate information and personalized solutions to all guests’ inquiries concerning hotel facilities, venues and functions.

Primary Responsibilities

Front Office Operation

• Performs Front Office operations, applying the organizational structure defined by the Front Office Manager
• Contributes to guest satisfaction at all times by providing high quality services throughout their stay
• Gives priority to guest relations, while taking care to respect administrative procedures
• Handles any guest complaints and/or remarks; provides a response as soon as possible
• Takes care of the arrival and departure processes for guests in compliance with internal procedures
• Maintains excellent relations with the welcomers, ensuring their activities complement each other
• Informs guests about the formalities, any particular conditions relating to their stay and the services available
• Passes on information as necessary to other departments (floor staff, technical etc.) and to other members of the front desk team

• Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service.
• Ensure the daily smooth running of the Front Desk Team with regards to directing Front Desk Agents and Bell persons in conjunction with the Front Office Management team.
• Formalize and improve work processes.
• Follow corporate guidelines for operations reconciliation.

Position Purpose:

The Assistant Brand Manager will be accountable to develop, plan and execute marketing, public relations, sales and promotional strategies within the brand’s guidelines to support and achieve the sales plan. Together with the Business Manager, this role will oversee, orchestrate and execute the brand’s business growth via in-store execution, digital marketing, PR, social media, and retail execution, creating a consistent and engaging brand experience that is consumer focused.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement go-to-market channel marketing plan including promotion, animation partnerships and consumer activations.
• Perfect execution for new launches and marketing activations through building strong relationship with brand partners, retailers and agencies.
• Collaborate internally with sales and demand planning team to ensure availability of products both online and offline platform.
• Analyse potential opportunities for product range, positioning strategy, pricing and promotions.

• Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities for brand growth.

• Responsible for forecasting of products and sampling for new launches and trade and retailer activities.
• Management and tracking flow of product registration in Malaysia to ensure timely registration.
• Implement door-by-door marketing plan (CRM, events and promotions)
• Define and develop CRM program for the brand to drive engaging brand communications.
• Initiate and coordinate ad-hoc corporate assignments, where required.
• Budget management: Responsible for full P&L

Requirements:

• Have a tertiary qualification in Business Management, Finance or relevant specialisation.
• At least 4 years of brand management and/or marketing experience in beauty and/or FMCG industry.
• Digital agility along with good business insights to the industry and strong business acumen.
• Good analytical skills, problem solver, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong understanding of the P&L of the business.
