Green Camp is an innovative program within AYANA Resort Bali that aims to educate and inspire especially young participants (ages 4 to 17 years old) to become environmental leaders. Through hands-on activities, workshops, and immersive experiences, Green Camp empowers youth to make a positive impact on the environment and communities around them.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as the Green Camp Apprentice Assistant Facilitator. This role will work closely with AYANA Green Camp Lead and Junior Facilitators to ensure the smooth operation of Green Camp Ayana. 

You must have a passion for working with children and commit to environmental education.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of camp activities, including daily schedules and special events
• Co-lead programs and activities
• Supervise campers during all activities and ensure their safety and well-being at all times
• Assist with the set-up and clean-up of camp facilities and equipment
• Provide support and guidance to campers as needed
• Communicate effectively with campers, staff, and parents as needed
• Maintain accurate records and reflection’s on campers' attendance, behavior, and progress
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required
• Demonstrate commitment, reliability, punctuality, and responsible behavior
• Ability to role model positive attitude and high energy

• Oversee and manage a designated kitchen station efficiently, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen team members to ensure smooth coordination and timely execution of dishes during service periods.
• Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients as well as availability of the food stock, proactively addressing any issues to maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
• Follow recipes and cooking techniques accurately while also contributing creative ideas for menu development and improvement.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of Green Camp programs, ensuring that participants have a transformative and unforgettable experience. This roll will also be responsible for ensuring excellent safety standards and a high-quality experience during all Green Camp programs.

Responsibilities:

• To take a lead in facilitating, coordinating, and delivering residential/day outdoor education programs as well as meeting the learning outcomes of the programs
• To ensure that all the activities run following the standards, policy, and procedure to ensure safety and satisfaction
• Co-design, write/develop sessions curriculum
• Communicate and liaise with inquiries from clients, parents, and AYANA through various correspondence. 
• To contribute and to comply with, all safeguarding policies and standard operating procedures
• Maintain accurate records and reflections on campers' attendance, behavior, and progress
• Actively contribute to facility maintenance and cleaning as needed at the end of each camp day
• To work flexibly including on some evenings, weekends, or public holidays
• To facilitate activity sessions in such a way that all participants feel valued, safe, and part of a team
• To deliver a wide range of outdoor programs including team building, climbing, swimming, high ropes, river activities, hiking, biking, etc. 
• Supervise and assure physical/emotional safety of all participants
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
